Baby Shower

One of my best friends is having a baby the end of August. My girlfriends from college and I hosted a baby shower for her a couple weeks ago. It was a great party and of course a great excuse for us to all get together.

Valco Double Tri-Mode Stroller with the Joey seat.

This is our crazy contraption of a stroller that all three kiddos can ride in. Gates loves it and the babies haven't complained about it. I like it because it fits through doors and aisles so I can take it shopping. I went to the mall with it and we definitely attracted a lot of attention. The Joey seat is an attachment that can be taken off so we can use the stroller just as a double if we want.

It took us a while to get around to tiling our back splash but once we started Chris and I knocked it out in a day and a half. Pretty quick project considering we had babies we took care of at the same time. I love how it turned out.

Life has been crazy

We have been so busy lately that I just haven't had a chance to put any new pictures of the boys on the blog. Sorry to all the Gates fans who have been missing seeing what he has been up to. Here is a quick summary in pictures of some of the things we have been up to.

I told you we have been busy and that is not even all of it. I started back to work two weeks ago. I was on leave for 3 months. It feels like a really long time and that a lot has changed. I am only working 3 days a week so going back to work really has not been bad at all but it does make it a lot harder for me to find time to blog. We also tiled our kitchen back splash. I have pictures to share but I am going to save them for tomorrow.

For the twins room I painted some dinosaur art with their names on it. I think they turned out really cute. I still need to hang them on the wall but it is not on top of my list since they don't look to bad sitting on the ledge.
