Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  May the peace and joy of the LORD our savior reign in your heart!

This was my last attempt at trying to get all three of my boys together for a picture.  As you will see in final Christmas card,  I ended up doing pictures of the boys individually on the back and the family pictures from the summer.

I am really sorry if you didn’t get a card from us!  It probably means I didn’t have your address.  We love all the cards we received!

Mommy’s Tree

I finished the advent calendar in time this year.  I got the idea to make this 3 years ago, started making it last year and got sick of working on it and packed it up.  It needs a star but I figured I could save that for next year because I am sick of it.  It was not a fun project!  Ringo, our elf on the shelf, either puts treats, bible versus or holiday activities to do in it every night.

Attempt #3

For all the fans of my attempts at capturing Christmas card pictures, here is another one for you.  I actually was able to get some really cute ones from this one that were used for my sister and mother in law’s cards.  It made a big difference this time that I had helpers.  DSC_0002DSC_0006copyDSC_0015copyDSC_0025copyDSC_0033

I was trying to keep every one close to Charlotte for the pictures so I hid Goldfish in her basket.  It some what worked. They all stuck around but I couldn’t get their heads up.

Visiting Santa

We have already gotten to see Santa twice!  Santa had a party at1 Daddy’s work and then we had breakfast with Santa.

At Chris’ work Santa walked in and Gates walked up to him (not to close) and had a conversation that went like this.

Gates: Hey Santa

Santa: Hello

Gates: This is my daddy his name is daddy, and that is my mommy (pointed over at me) her name is mommy, those are my brothers, Jack n’ Teddy, and my dogs name is Sambo.

Then Santa put out his hand for a high five and Gates gave him a big hug around his leg instead.

It was the cutest thing ever!

Then we went to a local restaurant where Santa rode in on a fire truck.  All three boys were in aww of the fire truck.

Jack and Teddy wanted nothing to do with Santa this year but Gates was good.  Gates told Santa that he wants some Star Wars people.

Jack and Teddy were surprisingly well behaved, mostly because they had a giant plate of food in front of them that they gobble through almost all of.
