Attempt #2

This started off alright, I bribed them with candy canes, but if you stick around till the end of the blog you will see that this quickly turned into a terrible attempt at a Christmas card picture.

(Notice Gates put his pants on backwards)

This is where things start going bad. (Scissors! what kind of mom lets their child have scissors?)

Then I tried bribing with a box of golden grahams but they grabbed the box and things got really ugly.

Poor Jack put up a good fight for that box but he was simply out numbered.

Pictures for a Christmas card

I have made three different attempts at capturing a Christmas card worthy picture of just the boys.  It is impossible!  I can barely get all three to stay in one spot at the same time much less not cry.  My expectations are low.  I don’t need all smiling sweat angel smiles,  I just all some what happy with face visible.  Not possible.  Some one is always running away, crying, giving me the back of their heads, moving so fast that they are a blur or just flat out looking ridiculous.

Happy Thanksgiving

Jack and Teddy had their Thanksgiving party this week at school which consisted of them eating and me making them a craft that they were suppose to make.  It was really cute and enjoyable to get to hang out with them in their class room.  Grandma was able to join me even though she is suppose to be taking it easy recovering from back surgery.  Jack and Teddy are any thing but easy so It was probably a little much for her.

Christmas trees and such

I went on a tour of home in Woodstock last weekend and thought I would share some of the Christmas trees they had.  Unfortunately, I was not suppose to take pictures so excuse the bad quality pictures taken when the Junior League police had there backs turned.  There was tons of different styles which was fun and inspiring.  I think we might have a Christmas tree going up in our house soon!  I have already put garland up the staircase!
