Sam

Sam is our dog or also known as Chris' dog when he is being bad. Let me give you the scoop on Sam. He is a character. He can be very destructive but also very loving. He really likes to lick people, to the point of being annoying. He is obsessed with Chris. He follows him around every where, and gets very moody when he is separated from Chris for to long. He is very sweet to Gates but a terror to me. He has left me more messes to clean up then I want to recall.

He loves raw hide bones, Chris gives him a new one pretty much every day.

He loves to play fetch and will whine and bark at Chris to play with him. His favorite toy is a really old soccer ball that the leather has completely worn off and is half inflated.

Sam has to have a special water bowl that doesn't spill water because he likes to carry it around with him especially if he is outside. That is what is next to him in the picture.

The only thing he possibly loves as much as he loves Chris is to Swim. But, of course swimming is always better if Chris with him.

He loves going out on the boat.
He is a great swimmer but because he loves it so much he would swim until he drowned so when at the lake he has to wear a doggy life vest.
He likes to dig.
He likes to sleep. He has been known to sleep in very awkward positions. His favorite spot to sleep is on his giant dog bed next to our bed at night and during the day he likes to sleep on the couch.
He loves to run.
His best doggy buddy is Max. Max is Chris' parents dog who is from the same blood line as Sam. They have been together since they where pups. They really like to clean each others ears, that's true love.
Sam also likes sticks. The bigger the better.

Who would have ever thought that this cute little puppy would turn in to such a terror.
Chris loves this dog to pieces even when he is a terror so I manage to love him also.

More Gates and Sam love

As you probably already figured out, Gates really likes Sam. I personally can't stand Sam licking me but Gates thinks it is hilarious. I know it is really gross but it is hard to get really upset about something that brings out that cute giggle of Gates'.

35 weeks pregnant with Twins

Uggghhhhhhhh. I am sick of being pregnant! I could not be any more uncomfortable. So, in more interesting news, Chris has been planting some things in our new yard. This is an apple tree that will hopefully grow nice and tall like Gates.

33 Weeks Pregnant With Twins

My doctor and everyone else seems shocked that I have made it this far. The goal is to make it at least a couple more weeks. For one thing, we are not as ready as I would like to be for babies arrival.

*How far along?: 33 weeks
*Total weight gain?: Around 30 lbs.
*How big is baby?:Around 4 pounds each
*Sex: Two BOYS!
*Maternity clothes: I don't fit into the majority of my maternity shirts any more so I have started wearing Chris' shirts. If I get much bigger I'm not going to fit into anything.
*Stretch marks: Yes, very depressing.
*Sleep: Yes, but there is lots of tossing and turning. I am just thankful we have a king size bed.
*Best moment this week: Monday was my last day of work at least till the babies arrive. It was physically impossible to do my job any more and I am on bed rest so these babies don't make an early arrival.
*Movement: Yes, it looks like and feels like they are trying to get out.
*Food cravings: No.
*Labor signs: None that I notice.
*Belly button in or out: Out.
*What I miss: Everything! Especially being able to walk. All this nice weather we have been having has me really wanting to go out and walk.
*What I'm looking forward to: Physically being able to do stuff and not having all the aches and pains.
*A lot of people ask me "what does Gates think about me being pregnant and does he know what is going on?" I don't think he really knows much is going on except that his mom can't hold him and there is no room in his mom's lap for him to sit. So, I would say he does not like what ever is going on and he get jealous when he sees me or Chris hold other babies.

We live very close to the Chattahoochee river, so we took Gates there. He liked seeing the geese but was much more interested in playing on the play ground.

Gates loved the play ground. He especially loved watching all the big kids running around him almost knocking him over. Good thing he has a great dad that played body gaurd.
